We are seeking a qualified, energetic individual to join our team as a Configuration Analyst for our Electronic Health Record, myAvatar. As part of our team, you will be responsible for configuration of the EHR based on business requirements and stakeholder requirements as well as system analysis, design, and development. You will assist in supporting users of the EHR across four mental health agencies in Vermont. In addition, responsibilities include testing patch releases and billing configuration. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex workflows and recommend effective solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine update testing in the myAvatar system.
Collaborate with UEMRVT agencies to define goals and areas of potential improvement.
Perform software configuration and implementation of the EHR.
Serve as a subject expert on the EHR.
Create custom reports and widgets using SQL and Crystal Reports for internal agencies as well as stakeholders to meet business requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of related education, training and experience; healthcare-related industry preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully verbally and in written communication.
Experience with SQL and Crystal Reports
Experience using and managing an EHR platform.
Medical billing experience is a plus
