    • Overseeing the clinic maintenance process and leading the facility's efforts to integrate profile management among healthcare providers, facility staff, and patients;
    • Setting up the clinic structure to allow the scheduling of patients, capture workload, bill insurance and co-pays, and track facility and provider performance against local measures;
    • Interpreting national policies and procedures, developing and implementing local standards, defining requirements, and providing advice to top management on related issues pertaining to clinic/provider profile management;
    • Ensuring that completed profiles reflect national, network, and local goals, directives, and policies;
    • Integrating advanced clinic access principles and initiatives, outpatient scheduling directive mandates, ambulatory data capture, and workload rules and regulations, and coding and billing criteria in to clinic structures;
    • Establishing and managing communication plans;
    • Overseeing clinic supervision of staff delegated to services performing clinic profile coordination and management functions;
    • Representing the facility at forums, conferences, and meetings;
    • Delivering presentations to all levels of the facility, service organizations, Veterans, family members, and caregivers;
    • Developing, implementing, and monitoring procedures for the creation and maintenance of clinics;
    • Establishing and editing clinic changes and notifications for new and established clinics and inactivating clinics in the system;
    • Ensuring appointment reminder systems are set up accurately for all outpatient clinic locations;
    • Standardizing, coordinating, establishing, and maintaining computerized clinic profiles;
    • Coordinating ancillary needs stemming from clinic profiles such as encounter forms, printing, and billing;
    • Performing related duties as required.
    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45am - 4:30pm.
    Telework: VA supports the use of telework to help attract and retain talented individuals in public service, increase worker productivity, and better prepare the agency to operate during emergencies. This position is authorized for Ad-Hoc telework as determined by agency policy and eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GS-11: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in Federal service. Specialized experience includes: managing complex projects for a medical facility; evaluating and extracting data to ensure facility compliance with directives and regulations; applying leadership skills to implement major change initiatives in a complex work environment. This experience must be detailed in your resume to receive credit. ~OR~

    A Ph.D., equivalent doctoral degree, 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.M. in a related field that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of this position. One year of full-time graduate education is the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement. Part-time graduate education is creditable in accordance with its relationship to a year of full-time study at the school attended. Transcripts required. ~OR~

    An equivalent combination of specialized experience and progressively higher-level graduate education that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of this position. Your experience must be detailed in your resume and transcripts required.

    Receiving Service Credit for Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
