Holconn Construction has built multifamily communities since our founding in 2019. Our company has a small family-oriented structure led by two partners who develop multi-family communities along with a general contractor to create Holconn Construction. Holconn Construction has a current opening for a Construction Administrator based out of our office in Cary, NC.
Responsibilities Overview:
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and correspondence.
- Assist in scheduling construction activities, meetings and provide general administrative support.
- Assist in administering bid process for subcontractors.
- Help coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, invoicing, and payments.
- Assist in procurement, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries and maintain procurement records and monitor expenditures against budgets.
- Coordinate with accountants for invoice processing and payments.
- Serve as a point of contact for project inquiries and requests.
- Assist in coordination of inspections and quality audits as required.
- With a small team, the specific duties of this role may vary depending on the needs of the project and organization so the ideal candidate has a willingness to take on additional tasks when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in office software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and project management software (experience with Sage a plus).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction terminology and processes (preferred).
This is a hybrid position with a combination of work-from-home, office days, and occasional site visits.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 (dependent upon related experience).
