We currently operate in Volusia and Flagler Counties. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage our landscape construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for creating beautiful and sustainable outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects and manage landscape construction projects from start to finish- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers- Order materials for the project within budget (You will have support and assistance from other management and staff but should be able to place orders with purchase orders without supervision)- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest of quality standards- Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications- Enforce safety protocols and provide training to staff as needed- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
- Manage project budget and expenses- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project requirements- Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports to management (whether it be weekly or bi-weekly depending on workloads)- Communicate effectively with clients, ownership, and team members- Ability to reject or accept plant material from vendors- Knowledge of Florida Grades and Standards- Run schedules for the entire project including other departments such as hardscape, irrigation, fertilization, etc.- Provide daily time sheets to the office for yourself and staff under your supervision.
Qualifications:- Previous experience in landscape construction or related field - 5 Years Minimum in a supervisory role- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents *Crucial*- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail- Knowledge of tree care, landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and garden construction is a necessity- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines- Proficiency in relevant software (MS Excel)- Must be engaging in the company culture of customer first and support team members around you
