About Us: Foster Construction, LLC dba Foster Foundation Repair is a locally owned and operated construction and engineering company specializing in foundation repair. We design and perform foundation stabilization repairs, foundation waterproofing, structural repairs and drainage improvements for residential and commercial structures in the Charleston-Huntington area.

Job Description: We are a small but growing construction and engineering company seeking an experienced Construction Operations Manager to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion, as well as playing a crucial role in managing personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors and clients to ensure project success.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to multiple projects to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and performance.
• Assist senior management in hiring, as well as disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.
• Train and mentor personnel to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
• Conduct regular performance and evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Construction Operations Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and personnel management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to haul a trailer with equipment.
• Ability to drive a non-CDL dump truck with manual transmission.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
