Job Description

IT Project Manager

Project Manager will oversee the design, development, implementation and support of technology infrastructure, hardware, software, and application systems.

This will include distribution, systems performance management and technology integration functions. The Project Manager will lead delivery teams that designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements applications, components, tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of systems in the client s pharma enterprise environment.

The role will also involve generating and maintaining documentation meeting GxP, SOX, validation and qualification protocol requirements.

The candidate should be well versed with ITIL service management process streams, SDLC, and Agile project delivery. The expectation of the Project Manager will be to help in the support of a long-term strategic roadmap aligning with the overall enterprise direction, initiatives, and vision.

Role Specific Responsibilities

Oversee planning, scheduling and execution of medium to complex sized project(s) in the functional portfolio to deliver on intended outcomes

Identify dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to appropriate levels of management and stakeholders across assigned project(s)

Ensure project deliverables, schedules, and financials adhere to established norms and are managed in alignment with departmental best practices across their assigned project(s)

Periodically evaluate performance and develop action plans to ensure achievement of project goals

Monitor and control schedule and financial health of their assigned project(s) and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders

Proactively remove obstacles to drive assigned projects' momentum and progress

Engage and energize the project team(s)

Plan and engage necessary resources across the enterprise to ensure successful completion of assigned project(s)

Manage project resources providing services to the project(s) ensuring they meet their execution milestones and remain within their funding estimates

Prepares and presents all project status reports and documentation to keep project sponsors informed of project progress and potential risks / roadblocks so they can take appropriate action

Maintains supporting project documentation and generates validation and qualification documentation artifacts as required

Maintains Configuration Management Database item details within ServiceNow

Actively engage stakeholders of problem project(s) to assist with identifying corrective actions

Consistently apply Project Management best practices (including Agile, SDLC and PMF) and tools

Provide support to IT Business Partners and Digital Capability Managers in management of project financials, vendor management and procurement

Collaborate with IT Business Partners, Digital Capability Managers and Portfolio Managers on project scope development

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside IT

Communicate and reach alignment between multiple cross functional stakeholders

Qualifications

College degree in related technical / business areas or equivalent work experience.

5 years of IT project management experience in Pharmaceutical industry or regulated environment.

Experience successfully leading medium / complex IT projects or programs with experience in technical implementations, application development, system integrations and management of complex distributed applications.
