Consumer Loan Processing Manager manage all processing operations for new consumer loans. Develop and implement processes that result in rapid and accurate processing. Being a Consumer Loan Processing Manager ensure that all regulatory requirements are met. Establish systems and methods to monitor and analyze activity metrics. Additionally, Consumer Loan Processing Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Processing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     Cinfed is searching for a Consumer Loan Underwriter based in Cincinnati, OH at the Oakley Headquarters.

    Essential Functions Include:
    • Assuming responsibility for effectively reviewing, processing and underwriting loan applications
    • Coordinating and preparing loan documentation for closing while ensuring that each loan is promptly and properly prepared, documented, processed, and approved.
    • Calculating terms, finance charges, and insurance on loans for proper disclosure on promissory notes.
    • Adhering to the credit union’s BSA/AML policies, procedures, and processes.
    Required Experience:
    • High school education or equivalent education is required
    • Must have a thorough understanding of financial services and products, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • At least five to eight years of similar or related experience is required
