Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises the daily activities of a loan servicing team. Oversees and coordinates processing and documenting loan transactions, insurance, and tax bills, and performing escrow analysis. Being a Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor ensures that loan transaction files are accurate and complete, and that staff complies with appropriate procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Performs quality checks and resolves issues. Additionally, Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor monitors workload and allocates resources to meet production goals. Coaches and trains team. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a senior manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Position Overview:As a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist you will book loans, loan check-backs, process loan payoffs and payments, process paid loans, lien recording on titles, prepare Discharge of Mortgages, file maintenance on loans, and prepare loans for scanning and filing. Liaison between Branches, Customers, and Loan Officers.
Key Responsibilities- Book new loans - review all signed loan documentations and upload new loans through the Laser Pro interface program to the Fiserv System. Follow up with branches and Loan Officers for missing or incorrect loan information, prepare block posting sheets.
- Process payoff checks, including preparing loan and general ledge tickets; paid loan sheets.
- Interact with Branches, Customers and Officers to research and solve loan problems.
- File maintenance on loans - updating pending items such as titles, missing documentation, attaching ACH's for payments.
- Processing paid loan files - releasing paid documentations, title, refund checks.
- Load Auto loans with PA titles into the Vintek System to track our lien recordings in PA.
- Preparing loan set-up sheets to attached Overdraft Loan to Checking accounts.
- Check back previous day's booked loans, modifications, increases, conversions, block posting sheets.
- Run Vintek Reports.
- Send out loan pending list to Branches and Loan Officers.
- Prepare Loan Folders for filing - labeling, bar coding for scanning.
- Prepare Discharges of Mortgage when necessary.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- High School diploma
- 12 months of loan servicing experience or related experience
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of basic math
- Must be bondable
