Job Responsibilities

• Prepares schedules for the nursing units and maintain posted schedules
• Keeps schedules up to date with personnel changes
• Prepares and completes all paperwork necessary for change of assignments/shifts and status of employees
• Communicates with Human Resources when changes of assignments/shifts and status occurs
• Completes nursing hours daily report for Nursing Mgmt and all other reports as assigned
• Enters coded nursing hours in Onshift and Payroll software daily, including paid and unpaid time off
• Transfers hours in Smartlinx to reflect the nursing area worked daily
• Enters paid time off & completion of nursing payroll
• Reviews and maintains the nursing agency credential files
• Creates written communication for any changes in schedules, weekend-holiday-vacation coverage or alerts

Qualifications

• Computer skills are required
• Prior administrative and scheduling experience a plus
• Strong communication skills, diplomacy and the ability to take leadership of any situation
