Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. Position Summary:
The Director of Finance & Administration is a member of the senior management team responsible for the hands-on coordination of financial, administrative, human resources, and internal information technology functions. This role will have financial management responsibilities that include entering daily and monthly accounting transactions, creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and metrics for the CEO and Board of Directors, assisting in the creation of annual budgets, forecasting, overseeing accounts receivables and payables, and payroll functions. The Director of Finance & Administration fully understands the relationship between the organization’s strategic goals and the earned revenue and fundraising needs and will help to guide the organization accordingly. The position collaborates with HSCC’s external IT provider to offer IT troubleshooting, upgrades, and upkeep and/or repair of all computer hardware, software, printing, copying equipment and telephone system. This role is also responsible for directing and planning group benefits programs and assists the President & CEO with Board and committee organizational functions.
