Contracts Administration Manager prepares and administers bids, proposals, and commercial and government contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Manages the contracts administration staff and guides compliance with complex contractual and regulatory requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Manager negotiates with suppliers, partners, or customers. Ensures contracts are administered and monitored to maintain compliance with the terms of agreements. Additionally, Contracts Administration Manager has a strong understanding of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to a director. The Contracts Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Contracts Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • CCG is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee our organization's contractual agreements and negotiations. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for reviewing and drafting contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and managing contract negotiations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of contract law.

    IMPORTANT- this position will report to the office in Tigard for the first 3 months, and thereafter will report to the large job site in Sandy OR. This project is the construction of a large water treatment facility.

    • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, and partnership agreements.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all contractual agreements.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal, finance, and operations teams, to gather necessary information for contract negotiations.
    • Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
    • Identify risks and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of contract terms and conditions.
    • Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation, tracking key milestones and deadlines.
    • Stay up to date with changes in contract laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
    • Experience with managing a team (position will have 2 direct reports)
    • Experience with contract management for projects with budget of $100 million or more
    • Experience with cost controls for a large capital project
    • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of contract law and legal terminology.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex contracts.
    • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Proficient in CMiC and Autodesk software
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional certification in contract management is a plus.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $80,533.00 - $105,000.00 per year
