Control Systems Lead jobs in Mandan, ND

The Accounts Payable (AP) Lead will ensure accurate operation of the payables function. The Lead will act as a subject matter expert for the Accounts Payable team in their day-to-day operations.

• Provides leadership, coaching, development, technical guidance, and advice to AP team.
• Acts as a liaison with managers and accounting department on AP processes.
• Manages vendor-related processes: Reports on aged vendor accounts, reconciles vendor statements, monitors/manages vendor account info in system, etc.
• Investigates and resolves payable issues.
• Obtains coding and approvals for all AP invoices and vouchers invoices in accounting system.
• Reconciles applicable AP reports.
• Coordinates scheduled payment cycles, including a review of all payment types.
• Monitors invoices to ensure correct taxes have been applied (GST, PST, US Sales Tax) and follows up as needed.
• Participation/compliance with company safety programs & company policies.
• Other duties as required.

• Accounting certification or equivalent would be an asset.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in full cycle AP is an asset; minimum 2 years’ experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Exposure to foreign currency would be an asset.
• Able to prioritize and complete tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
• Strong communication skills, ability to build strong working relationships.
• Ability to manage confidential information ethically with integrity and professionalism.
• Critical thinker with good time management skills.
• Familiarity with oil and gas service industry would be an asset.
