    GENERAL FUNCTION

    The Manager of Health Care Compliance Reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, Essilor of America and is dedicated to developing, executing, and maintaining the Elements of an Effective Compliance Program as defined by HHS-OIG.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develops and manages the Health Care Compliance Monitoring Program.
    • With the assistance of the Chief Compliance Officer (“”CCO”), Essilor of America and consistent with the Compliance Committee’s Annual Work Plan, assesses and prioritizes the risk areas to be monitored in each calendar year.
    • Leads the monitoring efforts for identified risk areas, including robust the development of robust reports for review by the CCO and other internal stakeholders.
    • Develops relevant Corrective Action Plans with relevant internal stakeholders and drives timely completion.
    • Creates and organizes materials related to various Committee meetings and associated activities, including the EOA Health Care Compliance Committee.
    • Responds to and organizes Essilor’s responses and related documents pertinent to requests from external regulators or other organizations, such as the Independent Review Organization or Compliance Expert team.
    • Leads the annual review process of and relevant updates to the Program’s Written Standards and other SOPs.
    • Participates in the development and presentation of training materials to Covered Persons, including the annual requirements related to Covered Persons and Covered Functions training obligations for each Reporting Period.
    • Assesses the current control environment related to various areas of Health Care Compliance risk, focusing on Discount Arrangements and the DART process.
    • Identifies potential implementation opportunities to streamline or realize efficiencies related to current processes.
    • Leads the drafting and disseminating relevant communications to team members.
    • Performs other tasks as identified by the CCO.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
    • 5 years accounting, financing, pricing, auditing, compliance, or legal experience.
    • 5 years optical industry experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 10 years of previous Essilor or other eye care company experience
    • Previous healthcare compliance preferred, but not required.
    • Previous experience with Essilor’s lab network and associated systems preferred.
    • Additional certifications, like CFE, CHC, CCEP.
