Corporate Construction Manager oversees construction projects and operations to meet the organization's financial and growth objectives and fulfill client contractual requirements. Follows established quality, performance, and safety standards and procedures for operations. Being a Corporate Construction Manager reviews and approves procurement of required material, equipment, subcontractors, and worker resources. Provides project updates and communicates with clients, contractors, governmental or regulatory officials, and other stakeholders. Additionally, Corporate Construction Manager builds effective team capacity to plan and implement construction projects. Ensures all permits, licenses, or certifications required by regulatory authorities are obtained. Establishes and enforces safety protocols and procedures to provide safe job sites and minimize risk. Monitors costs and timelines and submits required progress reports to deliver projects on time and within budget. Implements best practice construction methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Typically reports to senior management. The Corporate Construction Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Construction Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Overview and Essential Functions

    A successful Telecom Construction Manager shall be responsible for management of assigned telecom construction segments; ensure safety, quality, timeliness, and financial expectations are met for all scopes of work; coordinate construction scheduling and associated activities, while acting as a liaison to Project Management concerning progress and delays. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of the telecommunications industry; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data. In order to perform this job, you must demonstrate, either by training or experience: - the ability to work safely, with or without supervision; - the ability to read understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness; - the ability to coordinate the activities of others; - the ability to organize work load to determine priority of duties; - excellent manual dexterity; - the ability to manage multiple projects to completion; - the ability to function effectively in a high-stress situation; - the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed. Responsibilities: - Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees and supervisors of an assigned area, department, or project(s). - Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. - Develop processes to ensure completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project(s). - Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project(s). - Additional Duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    - Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience. - Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience. - Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks. - Authorized to work in the United States. - Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
