Job Title: Corporate Development Analyst
Reports to: Senior Vice President, Corporate Development (Clark Harlow)
Position Summary:
The Corporate Development Analyst is a key member of the Park Lawn corporate development team, directly supporting the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. This role is instrumental in executing both inorganic growth strategies (Mergers & Acquisitions) and organic expansion across the United States and Canada. The analyst will work closely with the Executive Management Team and the Board of Directors, offering a high level of visibility within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Modeling:
- Co-lead financial modeling to evaluate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and major capital projects.
- Conduct in-depth industry research, competitor analysis, demographic trend reviews, and risk assessments related to investments.
- Strategic Communication:
- Prepare presentations and investment memorandums for the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
- Assist in presenting recommendations and proposals related to potential transactions to senior leadership.
- Transaction Support & Due Diligence:
- Provide support during all M&A activities by managing data in the virtual data room, liaising with Sellers/Buyers, and sharing critical information across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during due diligence, integration planning, and post-transaction integration phases.
- Special Projects & Legal Documentation:
- Assist the finance team with special projects as needed.
- Review and contribute to the preparation of various legal documents related to transactions.
- Process Improvement & Team Development:
- Identify opportunities to enhance corporate development processes.
- Assist in the recruitment and development of new team members.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with financial analysis and modeling.
- Technical Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of urgency.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
