Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager oversees and promotes the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Implements programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager communicates the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager conducts compliance monitoring, investigations, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. Manages the administration of confidential reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job description (Position: Manager – Compliance Company Affairs / Legal) 

     

    Summary: In this position you will oversee company Compliance, ISO 9001, Client care, Internal Audits, Claim Handling, Legal compliance, and support in corporate affairs.  

     

    Responsibilities 

    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.  
    • Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.  
    • Provides technical and administrative support to the operations.  
    • Conducts internal audits, safety inspections, and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.  
    • Reviews accident and incident reports.  
    • Submission of the accident and incident claims.  
    • Support in renewal of insurance auto, cargo, general, and workman’s comp.  
    • Supporting activities on contract risk and compliancecontract audits and monitoring  
    • Oversee vendor renewal and close-out process and supporting in closing contracts.   
    • Review of new contracts to ensure the compliance of laws and regulations.  
    • Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

    • Extensive knowledge of current company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.

    Education and Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. 
    • At least three years managing all phases of office management is highly preferred. 

    Physical Requirements:  

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
    • Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
