Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager oversees and promotes the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Implements programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager communicates the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager conducts compliance monitoring, investigations, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. Manages the administration of confidential reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Corporate Ethics & Compliance Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • This position exists to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of the organization to ensure regulatory standards are being met in the manufacture of recreational vehicles (RVs).

    Essential Functions:

    • Ensure the company is compliant with all regulatory requirements pertaining to the manufacture and transportation of RVs.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for all manufacturing codes and standards related to the production of RVs.
    • Serve as the point of contact for compliance related production floor issues and advise others on regulatory compliance.
    • Maintain regulatory and compliance documentation.
    • Lead all external audits including RVIA and vendor audits and manage remediation activities.
    • Investigate and manage product recalls and technical service bulletins.
    • Investigate customer complaints from multiple information sources to support a proactive approach to recall activity.
    • Manage all communications with the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration and Transport Canada.
    • Design on-going training programs for employees.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree desired.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of statistics, blueprint reading, and strong technical writing ability.
    • Prior proven experience in a Manufacturing or Quality Assurance role is desired.
    • Strong working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), RV Industry Association (RVIA) standards as well as state and federal manufacturing codes.
    • Ability to adapt and problem-solve through business changes.
    • Proficiency in problem-solving skills including investigation, data analysis and validation.
    • Critical thinking with strong initiative and openness for resolving issues while implementing improvements.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks appropriately while demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
    • Demonstrate the ability to rapidly learn and retain technical information.
    • Demonstrate and apply professional quality assurance concepts to the RV industry driving towards an industry leading level of quality.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills showing the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to achieve cooperation and desired results with all team members.
    • Eagerness to collaborate with a positive attitude while interacting with the entire team.
    • Commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and a better ownership experience.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • The hours for this position will need to coordinate and/or overlap with the production work schedule. The expected start time will regularly be 6am or earlier Monday – Friday.

    Physical Demands/Working Conditions

    This position requires light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.

    • This may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor approximately 75% of the day, and occasionally, may require working in a non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment where standing, walking, stopping, kneeling, climbing may be necessary.
    • This position requires the use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment, ability to reach with hands and arms.
    • This position may require lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
    • This is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours or days worked.
    • Regular attendance is essential.
