Corporate Insurance Manager manages an organization's overall insurance programs. Analyzes insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs and claim settlements. Being an Corporate Insurance Manager conducts regular policy reviews, research and compile loss trends, review actuarial estimations. Administers systems to collect data and generate meaningful models and reporting to support decisions. Additionally, Corporate Insurance Manager coordinates policy renewals and applications. May administer self- insured plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Insurance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Corporate Insurance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Salary Range: $60000.00 - $80000.00 per year


    Responsibilities

    • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
    • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
    • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
    • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
    • Process customer policy change requests.
    • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
    • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
    • Document each customer contact in eAgent.
    • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
    • Take premium payments from customers.
    • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
    • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
    • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
    • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
    • Return all phone messages promptly.
    • Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
    • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
    • Maintain knowledge of new products.
    • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
    • Generating insurance quotes.
    • Provide exceptional customer service.
    • Be outstanding at relationship building.
    • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
    • Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
    • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
    • Obtain prospects information such as name, address, vehicle information and enter into quote sheets.
    • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
    • Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.
    • Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and/or referral programs.
    • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
    • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
    • Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
    • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
    • Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
    • Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
    • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices
    • Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone
    • Uphold the wants and needs of your customers
    • Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
    • Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy
