We are currently seeking a legal secretary or paralegal to assist in our growing caseload. We are located on the Marina in Petaluma, California, 35 miles North of the Golden Gate Bridge.
We are looking for employees who like to work hard and have a good time doing it. The ideal candidate has at least three years litigation experience. Knowledge of probate, employment and/or personal injury litigation is helpful. Applicants should expect to assist attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. Job Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of legal experience in civil litigation;
Have experience in assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents;
Have experience in drafting, revising and proofreading legal documents;
Must be able to maintain attorney(s) appointments/calendar;
Must be able to calendar all court deadlines/due dates for several cases;
Must be able to complete court filings and subpoena documents.
Computer skills: Proficient in ProLaw, Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel, and Outlook.
Hours: 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
