As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining advanced software systems that support our biomedical research and product development. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new control systems and data warehousing technologies, maintaining high operational standards and product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement sophisticated software solutions for control and data systems in biomedical settings.
• Directly interact with end users to resolve complex issues efficiently, tailoring solutions to their needs.
• Continuously improve existing software for better system efficiency and reliability.
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, adhering to industry standards.
• Ensure the functionality, reliability, and scalability of software products through rigorous testing and maintenance.
• Suggest and enact enhancements to software systems, including data management for warehousing.
• Oversee the packaging and deployment of software in a regulated environment.
• Implement high-level cloud infrastructure for machine learning-enhanced control systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and Python.
• Experience with control systems and interactive UI/UX development.
• In-depth knowledge of data management for data warehousing.
• Skilled in software packaging and deployment.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in documenting technical specifications.
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems like Debian or Ubuntu.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in the biomedical or biotech industries.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in biomedical software development.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning in biotech applications.
• Experience with PLCs, microcontrollers, and peripheral I/O devices.
• Adherence to best practices for data security and privacy in healthcare environments.
• Advanced data analysis and statistical modeling skills to enhance functionality insights of biotechnological systems.
