Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label charcoal, manufactured fire logs, fire building products, matches and toothpicks. Position Summary:  

The Cost Accountant is responsible for performing accounting functions consisting of product inventory liability calculations. Additionally, this role is responsible for monitoring the cost of labor by monitoring overtime hours against staffing and production schedules. The cost accountant reports on these activities monthly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supports monthly close process.
• Enters monthly inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Maintains perpetual inventory.
• Generates labor cost and shipment reports for management review.
• Manages standard cost system.
• Conducts product line analysis for management review.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3 years of related work experience in cost accounting and/or finance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field.
• Financial management.
• Thoroughness.
• Project management.
• Problem solving analysis.
• Communication proficiency
• Technical capacity

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Casual office environment.
