Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, preferably within the manufacturing sector. The Cost Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing cost data, forecasting, and implementing cost-saving measures. Experience with SAP, journey entry creation, and general ledger management is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cost accounting activities including cost analysis, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain cost forecasts, budgets, and financial reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Utilize SAP for cost management, financial reporting, and data analysis.
• Create and post journey entries accurately and timely.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze cost information.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide support for audits and compliance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost management processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with journey entry creation and general ledger management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
