Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Counter Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of brand strategies to achieve 5% sales growth.

Duties:

- Lead with exceptional customer service.

- Engage every client by utilizing our free beauty services.

- Partner with Cosmetics Sales Manager to plan business goals 30-60-90 days in advance.
- Create and maintain a strong clientele of loyal customers.
- Collaborate with other Brand Leaders and associates to drive sales.
- Develop and inspire beauty advisors to achieve personal sales goals and brand sales goals.

- Plan and execute a minimum of one grassroots event monthly.

- Educate customers on Dillard’s loyalty programs.

- Maintain visual merchandising standards to create a clean and welcoming environment.

Required:

- Proven experience in a supervisor role or people leadership.
- Familiarity with coaching and developing a small team to meet goals.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire teams.

- Planning and executing successful events.

- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.

- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly.

In addition to the hourly rate, this position offers a 2% commission opportunity on all personal sales when the assigned beauty counter meets their sales goal. An additional 2% commission is awarded when the department meets their sales goal. Additional bonuses and commission opportunities are available during certain periods for select products.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
