    Job Summary: As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy loads safely and efficiently. Your role will involve working in construction sites and substations, and following strict safety guidelines and ensuring precise operation of the crane equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Operating Cranes:

      • Safely operate different types of cranes, such as fix cab and swing cab.
      • Maneuver the crane controls to lift, lower, and position loads with precision and accuracy.
      • Follow signals from spotters or signalpersons to ensure safe operation.
    2. Load Management:

      • Determine load weights and calculate load capacities to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials.
      • Inspect loads for proper attachment and secure them using appropriate rigging techniques.
      • Monitor load stability during lifting and transport operations.
    3. Safety Compliance:

      • Adhere to all safety regulations, standards, and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
      • Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential hazards.
      • Report any safety issues, equipment defects, or incidents to supervisors immediately.
    4. Communication:

      • Communicate effectively with team members, signalpersons, and supervisors to coordinate lifting activities and ensure a safe working environment.
      • Follow hand signals, radio communications, or other communication methods as required.
    5. Documentation:

      • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including lifts performed, maintenance tasks completed, and safety inspections conducted.

    Qualifications:

    1. Certification:

      • Valid certification as a Crane Operator issued by an accredited organization or governing body.
      • Additional certifications for specific crane types may be required depending on the job.
    2. Experience:

      • Proven experience operating cranes in construction.
