Creative Director provides leadership and direction for all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Designs and implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and goals. Being a Creative Director promotes excellence in design thinking and a creative strategy for services, products and programs. Interprets stakeholder requirements to produce effective creative concepts and designs. Additionally, Creative Director recruits and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Develops creative briefs and design concepts to meet the business objectives of the organization. Studies current trends and technologies to adopt the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Creative Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Creative Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Job Summary: The Creative Specialist is the artistic force behind Fortune's branding and campaigns, primarily focusing on photography and videography. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role ensures that all visual elements resonate with our audience, convey our message effectively, and align with our brand identity. The success of this role is contingent upon forming strong, collaborative relationships with peers on the marketing team.

    Photography and Videography
    • Develop high-quality photo and video projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with Fortune's mission and objectives.
    • Create compelling multimedia projects, primarily focusing on videos and photos, to effectively convey Fortune's message and brand identity.
    • Generate captivating and coherent visuals that enhance the communication strategy and brand positioning, supporting marketing and promotional efforts.


    Asset Production and Optimization
    • Produce refined visual assets for print and digital media with clear messaging and brand alignment, prioritizing photo and video content.
    • Adapt visual content to suit different platforms and audiences, maintaining a consistent and appealing brand presence across various media.


    Enrollment and Recruitment Support
    • Produce visual materials to support achieving 100% student enrollment and staff recruitment, collaborating with marketing team peers to ensure the material's efficacy.
    • Develop visual content for specialized campaigns targeting leadership roles, such as principals, to highlight the benefits and unique offerings at Fortune.


    Inter-departmental Collaboration
    • Work in tandem with various departments to visually communicate their unique messages and campaigns.
    • Attend operational meetings, offer creative insights, and ensure that design perspectives are incorporated appropriately.


    Trend Analysis and Professional Development
    • Stay informed on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in photography, videography, and design, integrating them as appropriate to maintain the contemporaneity and effectiveness of Fortune's visual branding.
    • Participate in workshops and training sessions to continually refine creative skills and expand knowledge.


    Qualifications
    • Strong alignment with the mission, vision, and approach
    • 5 years of professional experience in photography and videography, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting
    • Proficiency in photography and videography tools and software, as well as design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
    • Effective communication skills with an eye for detail

    $31.25 - $36.05 an hour
    At Fortune School of Education, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $31.25-$36.05 per hour.
