Creative Manager jobs in Chandler, AZ

This position is responsible for the creation and execution of marketing and advertising creative (print and digital) for Troon and Troon golf clubs around the world. These creative projects include but are not limited to websites, emails, magazines, program logos, brochures, menus, products and more. A successful candidate will be driven to provide extraordinary customer service, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be detail oriented. The ability to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs is paramount for this role.

Essential Duties:

• Plan, design and execute a wide array of graphic concepts and projects
• Creation of in-house promotional materials, flyers, posters, menus, logos, web pages, etc.
• Work with the team to formulate and pitch concepts to clients
• Effectively communicate with corporate team and club contacts through design creation and editing process
• Consult with clients’ marketing and sales teams to create cohesive designs that are in brand and goal alignment
• Management of budget, including invoicing, tracking project expenditures and project budget development
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
• Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies
• Estimate time required for job completion and provide updates throughout the design process
• Meet tight deadlines and multi-task between numerous projects at a given time
• Creation of sales and design strategies to generate Troon Card program revenue
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) and minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:
Frequently sits, talks, hears, uses hands. Regularly walks and stands. Occasionally reaches with hands and arms, stoops, kneels, crawls and crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.

Environment/Noise:
Noise level is moderate and occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

• Ability to read and speak English (e.g. the associates are required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Canva
• Proficiency in web-based languages such as HTML, ASP and Java Script
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint
• Copywriting and public relations expertise
• Skilled in photo editing, video production and organic/paid social media
