Description:
The Program Coordinator works closely with the Career Specialists, providing guidance and support to the STEP-UP Program. Under the direction of the President/CEO, the Program Coordinator will audit participant files, including case reports, placement agreements, and timesheets, and provide insight as needed. The Program Coordinator will also liaise with the county to ensure participant compliance and progress throughout the STEP-UP program. The program coordinator will also ensure proper reporting, such as the All-Hours and Month-End reports, are in place. The Program Coordinator will also work alongside the Administrative Support Specialist on the Step-Up participant’s HR, onboarding, and payroll processes.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in an administration-related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a social services or related field
Experience in conducting basic needs assessments
Experience with basic payroll and administrative functions
Experience in developing individualized service and employment plans
Experience with program and contract compliance
Experience with handling personnel issues, counseling, coaching, mentoring staff, and team building
Proactively takes initiative in problem-solving
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – (oral and written)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to interact well with people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds
Fluent in MS Office Suite and associated software and Internet search tools; familiar with data entry
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in an environment with high participant turnover
Must be able to perform all essential functions as described in what would be considered reasonable accommodation
Position requires prolonged sitting, repetitive hand movement using a computer keyboard in the performance of daily activities
Valid CA Driver License
