Credit Analyst jobs in Southaven, MS

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Credit Analyst is primarily to:

• Review customer credit applications and analyze financial statements to determine the level of risk involved with extending credit to a new customer.
• Monitor customer accounts to limit exposure and release shipments as needed for hold accounts.
• Perform account reconciliations and communicate with customers on any dated, open items.
• Review accounts daily and provide updates as necessary regarding past due accounts.
• Produce monthly reports and ability to complete month-end closing processes.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with inside and outside customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an accounting related position or commercial Credit and Collections.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience using Oracle
