Credit Analyst jobs in Afton, WI

Prairie Community Bank is a growing community bank with 3 locations, including Marengo, Union and Elgin, IL. We are seeking a full-time Credit Analyst for our Marengo location to effectively estimate the degree of risk involved in extending credit to firms or individuals by performing the following duties.

• Prepares credit memos for all commercial and all applicable consumer loan requests using appropriate procedures
• Completes underwriting analysis for new loan requests, renewals and annual reviews for credit memos
• Analyzes financials including tax returns, balance sheets and income statements for credit memos with details of financial performance, condition and risk factors
• Works with lenders in detailing borrower background and current request narratives in credit memo
• Inputs financial data into Sageworks software
• Responsible for Sageworks software, including updates and product review
• Analyze adequacy of accounts receivables for borrowing base certificate customers and perform site visits as required
• Maintain accounts receivables ticklers for required relationships
• Prepare financial information request letters to be sent
• Collect tax returns and financial statements from customers
• Maintain tickler for tax returns and financial statements
• Maintain tickler for annual reviews
• Complete board report "Annual Review" monthly
• Co-ordinates ordering of commercial appraisals & evaluations
• Reviews evaluations
• Conducts monthly car dealer floor plan inspections and originates curtailment requests.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred
• Proficient knowledge of federal tax returns
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of financial spreading software; Sageworks a plus
