Job Description: The Credit Analyst is responsible for providing a premium experience in service to our new and existing customers while maintaining a responsible cost structure to Mill Steel’s financial success as a service center. The right candidate will be passionate about generating a positive experience outwards to our new and existing customers and coordinating with other departments throughout Mill Steel to provide the successful set up and ongoing maintenance of customer accounts to ensure exceptional delivery of product.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain credit profiles for new and existing customers
• Run credit reports and perform credit reference requests
• Collect and resolve aged balances while maintaining customer relationships
• Request and perform financial statement reviews for customers
• Negotiate and set customer terms and credit limits to maximize sales potential
• Effectively manage relationships between internal departments and customers to reconcile discrepancies as needed
• Ensure customer accounts are managed within credit insurance policies and agreements
• Manage 100 customer portfolio and maintain target DSO regularly
• Analyze existing accounts to identify risk and payment delays
• Effectively manage cross departmental relationships to meet business goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business related field ( Finance, Accounting, Etc.. ) preferred
• Familiarity with financial statements
• Experience with commercial trade credit preferred
• Exceptional speaking and communication skills required
• Sense of humor!
