    We’d like to welcome a Vice President, Branch Operations responsible for the administration and oversight of the retail branch delivery channel. Areas of accountability include service quality, team talent and development, employee engagement, operational soundness, compliance, and achieving annual organizational goals and objectives.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITES

    • Coordinates and works with the Senior Vice President on various operational activities, committees, and functions including the development of branch goals and objectives. 
    • Directs and manages the business development activities of all Branches. 
    • Ensures that team skills are being enhanced and that appropriate strategies are in place to strengthen Member participation in Credit Union products and services. 
    • Recommends and participates in the formation of new policies and makes decisions within existing policies for all areas under Branch Operations. 
    • Reviews Member service procedures and operating practices. Develops methods and procedures to improve operational effectiveness and responds to Member needs. 
    • Builds plans, tools, processes and training to optimize and leverage the best practices across Branch Operations and to ensure a high level of consistency. 
    • Demonstrates a reliable physical presence in branches and actively engages with Branch Employees to ensure that service objectives, team morale, and established goals are being realized. 
    • Assesses workflow, project budgets, facilities, and the security needs of the branches. 
    • Resolves escalated Member complaints, problems, and questions. Builds and maintains current Member relations as necessary via written correspondence, e-mails, phone calls or personal visits. 
    • Maintains business relationships with vendors, the community, and outside agencies. Projects good will and a positive Credit Union image. 
    • Evaluates work performance of VP Branch Managers through timely and regularly scheduled reviews. Recommends promotions, salary adjustments and corrective actions.  

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management is preferred or up to 8 years of equivalent financial industry experience.
    • Requires working knowledge of National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) regulations, California Credit Union Law and Rules and Regulations, and other applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Knowledge of California basic employment law. 
    • Ability to develop trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results at all levels of the organization. Experience in coaching, training, and developing employees in a high-performance culture. 
    • Adept at managing and motivating people 
    • Demonstrates advanced skills in data gathering and analysis methods; displays a strong ability to spot trends, draw insights, and communicate findings through data visualization methods. 
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills. Experience in creative problem solving, influencing, change management, and eliminating barriers at any organizational level. 
    • Demonstrated skills in conflict management, negotiation, and critical thinking

    PAY RANGE

    In accordance with California’s Pay Transparency Act (SB 1162), the expected salary range for this position is between: 

    $111,000 - $160,000

    Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.

    Note: As part of our screening process, LBS Financial conducts background investigations on candidates who have been extended a contingent offer and who have agreed and authorized us to do so.  This investigation will include a credit report, adult criminal history search, Social Security search, employment verifications and various Government regulatory and compliance searches like Terrorist Watch Lists etc.   

    LBS Financial employees must be eligible to be bonded through a fidelity bond to cover employee loss and risk.
