Summary:
Provide administrative assistance to the Business Department, including updating loan data into the credit union's computers, processing letters, and assembling documentation for business member's loans. Perform a variety of support duties related to the business lending function within the credit union.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Draft letters and emails for the purpose of contacting Members to gather documents.
2. Communicate via telephone and email in a professional and courteous manner. Answer questions, provide information, take messages, route calls appropriately, and coordinate follow up.
3. Upload lending documentation to appropriate third-party sites as well as internal network.
4. Record minutes of Committee Meetings for each Business Loans.
5. Accurately maintain business member records to ensure accuracy and completeness of work.
6. Maintain tracking spreadsheets
7. Assist members with basic questions and requests regarding business services.
8. Maintain and coordinate the department’s calendar to ensure business members are served with the highest quality.
9. Ensure loan reviews/renewals are completed in a consistent timely fashion.
10. Perform basic duties and assist with common business lending questions/requests in the absence of the Business Relationship Manager.
11. Other duties, as assigned.
Education:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent knowledge of English, Mathematics, & Grammar.
Experience:
Requires administrative experience and customer service.

Ability to demonstrate and apply manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
Ability to view computer monitor or laptop screen for extended periods of time.
Ability to work with confidential information, materials, and files appropriately, professionally, & discretely.
Office environment
Ability to adapt easily to changing work schedules. Travel to branches may be required.
Travel around the Shreveport-Bossier area may be required.
