This position plans and directs the development of risk management and loss prevention programs that provide maximum protection of the organization’s assets at the most economical rates. Develops risk minimization programs and ensures compliance with current legislation. Audits the activities of various departments for compliance with plans, policies, and procedures prescribed by management and the Board of Directors. Determines proper accountability of assets through physical count, inventory and confirmation. Prepares and submits reports on the results of audits, recommending improvements in policies, procedures, and efficiencies. Audits records of contractors regarding agreements where the company is a party of interest. Cooperates with outside auditors and regulators in any undertaking that might expedite their work.
