Job Description:

PathWays of Southwestern PA, Inc. is expanding and looking for contractors to join our Early Intervention team! We are currently seeking Independent Contractors for Early Interventionists throughout Greene and Fayette counties.

We provide Early Intervention services to children ages 0-3, who are at risk for developmental delays, in Washington, Greene, Fayette, and Westmoreland counties. We are seeking energetic and dedicated contractors who have a desire to provide guidance, support, and help to children and their families. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule. Early Intervention is a rewarding position where you get to work with caregivers to help them provide the best possible learning environment for infants and young children in their homes, communities, preschools, and daycare facilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Early Intervention, Early Childhood Special Education, Early Child Education, Child Development, Special Education, Family Studies, or a closely related field.

- Valid PA Child abuse clearance, PA Criminal Record Clearance, and FBI Clearance.

- Valid driver’s license

- Enroll in Pennsylvania’s Promise System

- Must be physically able to drive to appointments, work with children on the floor in a variety of positions, climb stairs, and lift an infant or toddler.

- Must be able to use a laptop or IPAD.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide services to children ages 0-3 who qualify for Early Intervention in their home or community settings.

- Coach caregivers and encourage them in their child’s development within their natural environment.

- Document delivery of service on state session note and each child’s progress towards achieving goals.

- Work with county service coordinators in providing the best possible outcomes for the children and their families.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
