*Travel between counties will be required for this position and business-related travel will be reimbursed at the government rate.

Position Summary: Supports the Executive Director in recording and retrieving grants and financial details. Including maintaining financial records and processing payments, cash handling, and salaries. Compiles and monitors paperwork and other related documents needed for grant funding programs. Using bookkeeping software, also inputs and maintains records of all payments and receivables to prepare monthly/quarterly grant reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Compiles monthly invoices for payments and process online bill payments.
• Assist Executive Director with compiling data and documents for all audits.
• Enter daily thrift store financial transactions into bookkeeping software.
• Prepares and takes bank deposits.
• Assist maintenance of office facilities, including oversite of office supplies, building supplies and liaison for maintenance vendors as needed.
• Assist with fund raising events to ensure financial transaction are allocated to donation funds.
• Attend training and conferences as required.
• Assist Executive Leadership and Chairman of the Board with Board communications.
• Compiles monthly VISA statements and matches receipts to credit card transactions.
• Gathers and distributes all incoming parcel letters and packages.
• Performs other related duties as requested by the Executive Director.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATION:

• At least one- two years' experience in office assistance
• Broad knowledge of word, excel, and computer skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Organizational skills

OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION:

Duties are usually performed seated with occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 25 lbs.). Work may be performed but is not limited to an office environment.
