$15.00 an hour (more with experience) -  Kids Crossing is looking to hire 1 full time assistant teacher, varying hours Monday through Friday in the toddler room.  You will be working alongside 2 other teachers interacting with the kids, helping with meals, changing diapers, helping with naps, etc.  You will receive lots of cuddles and unconditional hugs from our little ones.

• Full Time Position (30-40) hours per week
• Toddler Classroom (ages 14-36 months)
• April 2024 Start Date

Responsibilities of Assistant Teacher

• Provide quality care to children
• Help lead teacher in implementing classroom curriculum
• Supervise and participate in children's daily activites
• Assist in providing meals, diaper changes, naps, and necessary care for toddlers
• Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner
• Console children, treat basic injuries, work closely with lead teacher
• Assist in regular communication with parents and staff

Skills/Knowledge

• Teachers must be reliable, mature, show respect to children and coworkers, and be excited to work with families
• Have a basic understanding of children's growth and development throughout the infant stages

Applicant Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Have previous childcare experience (preferred)
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
• Have no felony convictions
• Willing to complete state required background checks
• Show proof of or are willing to complete CPR certification
