Job Description: Assistant Children’s Minister
Purpose & Overview
As part of the Family Ministry Team, the Assistant Children’s Minister will walk with parents and children (age birth through 5th grade) to help them take their next step in Christ, in Community, and in the World. They will assist the Children’s Minister in all aspects of the church’s ministry to children.
This position is full-time (salaried/exempt - forty hours per/week plus — Sunday through Thursday work week with Wednesday evenings and some Sunday afternoons/evenings) and includes benefits such as health insurance, a retirement plan, and paid time off (PTO). The Assistant Children’s Minister reports to the Children’s Minister and collaborates with other staff.
