Custom Millwork & Display, a progressive manufacturer of fine architectural millwork and cabinetry is seeking an experienced, well organized, Custom Millworker.

Essential Functions

• Measure and mark materials to verify dimensions.
• Communicate any discrepancies and inconsistencies of material or work order
• Establish the specifications of materials to be constructed or repaired and plan methods and operations for shaping and assembling, based on blueprints and work order instructions.
• Identify and report any defective materials or questionable conditions
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely.
• Follow all prescribed safety regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Previous woodworking experience required
• Ability to work both independently and with others
• Ability to communicate clearly with other employees
• Proficient use of both hand and power tools
• Mechanical ability for both large and small equipment
• Good manual dexterity
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Strong mathematical skills

Physical Requirements

• Regularly require the ability to sit, stand, bend, reach and lift a minimum of 70 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
