A professional, warm, and loving family in Rocky River, OH is seeking an experienced nanny house manager to join their family.

Both parents are veterinarians and have demanding schedules. When they are not working, they enjoy spending quality time with their children. They all have a major love of animals and love to be silly!

The 5.5 year old has a sweet and curious personality. He loves all things ocean, construction equipment, and learning new things. The 1-year-old has a fun loving personality and loves keeping up with his big brother. The nanny's main focus will be the 1 year old with the oldest also in the nanny's care when home from school.

The family is looking for someone warm, kind, gentle and nurturing. Someone who has a genuine love for working with toddlers and will be present engaging will be a wonderful fit for this family.

The family hopes to find a nanny who will plan and implement fun educational activities both indoors and outdoors and provide their son with a safe, loving, and enriching environment to learn and grow in.

This position is a combination of childcare and house management responsibilities. The house manager duties are as follows:

• General organization: changing out seasonal clothes, donating items that are no longer needed, pantry organization, etc.
• Preparing children's lunches and snacks for the week
• Washing putting away family laundry
• Taking out recycling and garbage
• Keeping common areas of the house tidy (vacuuming, sweeping/swiffer, taking garbage out, loading unloading the dishwasher, hand washing items, emptying diaper pails, cleaning of child related items such as highchair, crib, toys, stroller, etc.
• Rotating out play room items such as but not limited to: toys, books, puzzles
• Organization of play room/crafts and maintaining supplies needed
• Bonus: Meal prep!

Mom and Dad emphasize that the children are the top priority at all times, recognizing that house management tasks may vary based on the boys' schedules and time of year. They are open to the nanny's ideas to ensure overall household success and hope to collaborate on creating a schedule that is sensible and beneficial for everyone.

The nanny is truly an extension of the family in this household. They are looking forward to welcoming their nanny house manager and hope to find someone long-term. Position to begin as soon as possible for the right candidate, but ideally by May.

Schedule:

Tu-Fr: 11am-4pm; flexibility for more hours

Compensation: $25-30/hr BOE

Benefits: guaranteed weekly hours, 5 days PTO of nanny's choice, Extra PTO days when family takes vacation, 3 paid sick days, paid federal holidays, mileage reimbursement, raises and bonuses based on performance *benefits negotiable during interview process

Notes:

-Mom works from an in-home office. Nanny must be comfortable with a parent WFH, but is fully responsible for the children's day. Mom does not wish to micromanage and truly values the nanny house manager's role

-Family has one sweet dog cat
