We're a custom Millwork shop that just celebrated our 48 years anniversary and are looking for a highly skilled woodworker who wants to get an extraordinary amount of responsibility and autonomy in order to help take the business to a new level.

Our focus is on high-end residential and historical restorations woodworking. We've worked on some of the most iconic houses and historical buildings in the Hudson Valley, NYC, and even around the US. We're known for high end custom doors, windows, but what really seperates us is our 2 CNC lathes that allow us to produce beautiful wood turnings like balusters, newels, and columns.

We're looking for someone who is highly skilled and passionate about custom woodworking. We're looking to give someone an outsized amount of responsibility and are willing to help relocate the right candidate to the area.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the owner and other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, smooth workflow and efficient production.
• Collaborate with designers and clients to create innovative and appealing wood products that meet customer demands.
• Implement and refine woodworking techniques, utilizing various tools and machinery to achieve exceptional craftsmanship.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and clients to ensure a reliable supply chain and strong customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in woodworking
• Excellent knowledge of different types of wood, woodworking techniques, and tools/machinery used in the industry.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with clients, suppliers, and employees.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability to address challenges and changing market demands.
