Job Description:

A mother of three is seeking an experienced Night Nanny or Newborn Care Specialist to help sleep train her 8-month-old baby boy. The baby currently wakes up several times during the night and struggles to self-soothe. The goal is to successfully sleep train the baby within one month so that he can sleep through the night, allowing the mom to get adequate rest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a structured sleep training plan for an 8-month-old infant
• Provide nighttime care, including soothing, feeding, and diaper changes as necessary
• Use a gentle "cry it out" method, if needed, while focusing on achieving sleep training goals
• Monitor and document the baby’s sleep patterns and provide feedback to parents
• Support parents in understanding and maintaining the sleep training routine after the job ends

Qualifications:

• Experience in sleep training infants, specifically babies around 8 months of age
• Proven track record of helping babies sleep through the night
• Familiarity with various sleep training methods, including gentle cry it out
• Knowledgeable about infant care and safety practices
• Patient, nurturing, and respectful of family preferences

Requirements:

• CPR certification (must provide documentation)
• Comfortable with a background check
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Prior experience working as a Night Nanny or Newborn Care Specialist
• References from previous clients highlighting successful sleep training
• Ability to commit to the full month of nighttime shifts
