Our Garden segment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Insights and Sales Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The position will report to the Senior Manager of Insights & Sales Analytics. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth by providing actionable insights derived from syndicated data analysis. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of turning data into actionable recommendations. The Senior Insights and Sales Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally to support key business objectives and enhance decision-making processes.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Conduct in-depth analysis of syndicated data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into sales performance, market trends, and consumer behavior 
• Develop and maintain dashboards that visualize key metrics for easy consumption by stakeholders
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics
• Provide recommendations based on market insights to support strategic decision-making
• Assist in the development of market forecasts based on historical data and market trends
• Work closely with sales teams, marketing, and product development to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
• Utilize consumer data to identify and understand different consumer segments
• Provide insights into consumer behavior, preferences, and purchase patterns to enhance marketing and sales strategies
• Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives
• Provide regular updates on KPI performance and suggest strategies for improvement

 IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, or related field.
• 5 years of experience working in a similar role at a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company or retailer.
• Possess intellectual curiosity; proactively ask questions, seek answers, find solutions with a general manager mindset.
• Proficiency working with syndicated retail sales data (Nielsen, IRI/Circana, Datavations) and panel data (Nielsen, Numerator, Yipit)
• Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau)
• General understanding of basic primary market research techniques.
• Strong ability to tell a story with multiple qualitative and quantitative data sources, conveying key messages in a visually compelling way.
• Commitment to deadlines, accuracy, and professionalism.
