Customer Segment Manager is responsible for all customer segment group research including extracting customer data and analyzing profiles to determine market segment requirements. Develops targeted product offerings or marketing campaigns based on customer profiles. Being a Customer Segment Manager provides information to sales and marketing teams to assist in the promotion of the organization's goods and/or services. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Customer Segment Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Customer Segment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Segment Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Giorgio Fresh Co. is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead a team of representatives providing support and assistance to clients across three locations: Blandon Fresh Pack, and two facilities in Toughkenamon, Pa.

    You will be responsible for ensuring that the team delivers high-quality service, meets performance goals, and adheres to company policies and procedures. You will also be expected to spend time at all locations on a weekly basis, to monitor the operations, coach the staff, and foster a positive work environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the daily operations of the customer service team, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
    • Ensure that the team provides timely, accurate, and professional service to our clients, via phone, email, chat, and social media.
    • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints, and resolve them in a satisfactory manner.
    • Analyze customer feedback and service metrics, and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
    • Develop and implement customer service policies, procedures, and best practices, in alignment with the company's vision and values.
    • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience.
    • Travel between the three locations on a regular basis, to oversee the operations, address any issues, and maintain effective communication.
    • Represent the customer service department in senior management meetings and strategic planning sessions.
    • Ensure timely receipt and communication of customer orders, billing information and delivery needs.
    • Lead VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) process and future expansion.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, or a related field preferred.
    • At least 7 years of experience with at least 3 in a customer service supervisor capacity, preferably in a multi-site environment.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other relevant tools.
    • Preferred experience with VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)
    • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Willingness and ability to travel between the two locations on a weekly basis.
