Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Customer Segment Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Customer Segment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     The Role

As a service technician, do you enjoy having a team of colleagues that looks after your daily planning, makes sure the right spare parts you need are delivered on time and supports you remotely when you are facing more complex technical issues?

    We are looking for someone who loves to work autonomously in a diversity of companies. Do you enjoy travelling to different customers in your dedicated region? You can start your day from home and drive to the customer with a company vehicle equipped with safe tools.

    Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. Prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs, test and document the proper operating parameters of the equipment.

    Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software. Develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.

    Display the ability to manage time accordingly. Must have the ability to work and solve problems independently. Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times.

    Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-orientated image to customers while performing duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards.

    Perform other duties as assigned.


    To succeed, you will need

    1-2 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment. Strong mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics. Experience in HVAC a plus.

    Education:

    High School diploma or equivalent required with technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics preferred. Knowledgeable of HVAC preferred.

    Skills:

    Able to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism. Able to complete work within assigned deadlines. Computer proficiency as required for communication, research, work orders and programming various controllers. Excellent customer service and communications skills (oral and written). Must be fluent in English and have a valid driver's license.

    Employees will be subject to random drug testing.

    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.

    Travel:

    Available for a rotating schedule of on-call work on evenings, weekends and holidays.
