The Permit Administrator will be responsible for managing the permitting process for electrical and plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Process permit applications for electrical and plumbing projects, including gathering necessary documentation and completing forms accurately.Liaise with local government agencies, building departments, and other regulatory bodies to obtain permits and approvals in a timely manner.Review permit applications and associated documentation to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, and rejections, and track the status of permits throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate with project managers, field technicians, and other team members to ensure permits are obtained promptly and projects can proceed according to schedule.Respond to inquiries from clients, contractors, and government agencies regarding permit status, requirements, and documentation.Stay informed about changes to building codes, regulations, and permit requirements, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.
