Responsibilities
· The Quality technician is the primary Quality Assurance floor contact
· Ensure quality procedures are being followed and product conformance and quality standards meets customer expectations
· Eliminate waste in all 3 factory areas – mixing, components and finishing
· Diagnose and analyze root cause of waste (scrap, Ahvalli, wasted time etc.) in all 3 factory areas
· Compile necessary reports for the immediate supervisor and factory personnel
· Compile “One Point Lessons” along with quality engineers for operators to learn from
· Maintain all necessary records in the working documentation/enter data in computer-aided production control systems in accordance with the Company’s internal procedures
· All other duties as required
Skills
· Ability to perform root cause analysis and apply statistics to problem solving
· Strong problem solving skills required using established methodologies including 8-D, 5-WHY, Ishikawa, etc.
· Knowledge of technological processes and production modes
· Knowledge of main process and design data of the manufactured products
· Knowledge of quality standards
· Ability to identify production defects and develop methods to prevent defects
· Time management and organization skills
· Attention to detail
· Strong computer skills including basic knowledge of computer-based manufacturing applications
· Proficient with MS-Office application suite
· Proven technical skills
· Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to work independently and under pressure

Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Associate degree in technical field preferred, equivalent experience substitute
· 2 years minimum working experience in related field
· Experience with Lean Principles preferred
· Experience with Oracle preferred
Physical Demands/Work Environment
· Operates in both an office environment and manufacturing environment including indoor environmental conditions and noise.
· Must be able to continuously stand, hear, listen, talk, walk, bend, stoop, kneel or squat.
· Occasionally required to sit, use repetitive hand motion, pull, push and lift up to 20 pounds.
