General Summary
Housekeeping is what gives hotels the "wow" factor. It's the moment that guests walk into the hotel and are impressed, then enter their Guest Rooms and think "Wow, this looks wonderful.” The Housekeeping Inspector’s primary responsibility is to deliver a great guest experience, by ensuring hotel (public space and guest rooms) are spotless and prepared for guests.

We take our housekeeping and Laundry standards seriously. Therefore, we are searching for a staff member who would like to work in Housekeeping and Laundry with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection to make sure every guest enjoys a truly memorable experience.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you will mostly be:
● Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests
● Helping our guests in any way you can – whether they’ve forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevator
● Keeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problems
● Monitoring and controlling supplies to minimize waste
● Doing your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items
● Regularly assisting with deep clean projects
● Sorting laundry by color, material, and level of soiling
● Inspecting all laundry and linen for damage or stains – keeping a record of any items that don’t make the grade
● Operating washers and dryers to their recommended capacity and manufacturer guidelines
● Adding the correct chemicals in the right quantities for each wash cycle
● Folding and storing clean linen – operating the linen feeder, sheet folder, towel folder and table linen ironing machines
What we need from you
● It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
● Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds and/or push and pulling heavy objects
● You will need to bend, stoop and kneel to complete some activities
● Flexible attitude to shifts – you may be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
● Frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment
● Reading and writing abilities and basic math skills are utilized when determining amounts of chemicals to treat laundry, stains, and logging appropriate poundage.
● Outstanding organizational and time management skills
