This position supports the planning, execution, and reporting of direct marketing campaigns, along with the execution and support of circulation processes within the Customer Marketing division. This role is responsible for developing and executing catalog and other direct mail campaigns, in addition to the timely execution of data processing to meet mailing dates. In addition to working with direct mail data and managing project timelines, this position is responsible for coordinating all appropriate data requirements with internal departments and third-party vendors. Successful candidate must be able to work individually and as part of a team, as well as demonstrate strong aptitudes for mathematics, marketing, analysis, and project management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in the planning, creation, implementation, and execution of effective acquisition and retention marketing initiatives through catalog, and other direct mail initiatives.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure accurate and timely execution of marketing campaigns and tests.
- Name/address standardization, hygiene, and manipulation of marketing campaign data
- Create documentation and mailing instructions for internal and external partners
- Execute data transfers
- Validate vendor mailing simulations, proofs, and inkjet specs on all mail pieces prior to printing
- Create and manage unique identification and tracking numbers used in the mailing process for tracking mailing performance
- Update various databases with refreshed data such as circulation records, National Change of
- Address information, mailing costs, and various other data elements
- Create and execute ad hoc data queries and analyses
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, be detail and result-oriented, maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity, and have excellent time management skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, or a Behavior Science field preferred, or related experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience with business intelligence query tools such as SAS, especially SAS Enterprise Guide, is required.
- 1-3 years’ experience working with Snowflake data platform is preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in database marketing, direct mail, marketing analytics, programming, is preferred.
- Experience in database administration, data hygiene, and data management fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel) is required.
- Experience working with a multi-channel, multi-brand direct mail company a plus
- Understanding of marketing and promotional tactics preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and days of the week which could include occasionally include holidays if needed.
