Description

Robert Half is looking for a certified Data Analyst to join our client! The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Some responsibilities of the Data Analyst include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Accurately examine and gather data for various types of business reports

- Review data to identify changes in financial and business trends

- Own the maintenance of databases and perform updates as necessary for accuracy

- Analyze data reports regularly, identifying and resolving any mistakes

- Assemble data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use

- Support other departments in reaching their goals through analysis

- Convey the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers

- Create business reports that provide insight into key data points

Requirements

- Detail oriented with a tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results

- Must be able to effectively relate data to coworkers using verbal and written communication skills

- Skilled in time management and prioritization to meet project deadlines

- One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst

- General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow

- Strong analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports

- Skilled in object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs

- Demonstrated ability to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts from data tools

- Superb critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve business problems
