Data Architect designs and builds databases for data storage or processing. Develops strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition and access, and data archiving and recovery. Being a Data Architect builds data models and defines the structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements. May evaluate new data sources for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration. Additionally, Data Architect requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Data Architect work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Candidate having 14 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of Data architect experience
Associate is expected to be in Bristol office and would be involved in solution brainstorming , white boarding and work closely with client
Should be able to understand the current architecture and suggest ways to improve the efficiency, avoid anomalies.
Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Data Architect/Cloud Architect
Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners
